A Pearl of Wisdom from Tāwūs

Tāwūs said:

ما من شيء يتكلم به ابن آدم إلا أحصي عليه حتى أنينه في مرضه

“There is nothing that one says except for that he will be reckoned for it, even his moaning while sick.”

(Siyar, 5:47)
