A Pearl of Wisdom from Shumayṭ b. ʿAjlān

Shumayṭ b. ʿAjlān said:

من جعل الموت نصب عينيه لم يبال بضيق الدنيا ولا بسعتها

“One who believes that death is a reality he will face is not concerned by the hardships of this world nor its comforts.”
