A Pearl of Wisdom from Abū ʿUthmān al-Maghribī

Abū ʿUthmān al-Maghribī said:

من أثر صحبة الأغنياء على ‌مجالسة ‌الفقراء ابتلاه الله بموت القلب

“Whoever prefers the company of the rich over sitting with the poor, Allah will afflict him with a dead heart.”
