A Pearl of Wisdom from Harim b. Ḥayyān

Harim b. Ḥayyān said:

لا آثر الدنيا على الآخرة حكيم ولا عصى الله كريم

“One who is wise does not prefer this world over the next. And one who is noble does not disobey Allāh”

(al-Mukhtār, 256)
