A Pearl of Wisdom from Imām Shāfiʿī

Imām Shāfiʿī said:

إذا تخلى الناس عنك في كرب فاعلم أن الله يريد أن يتولى أمرك

وكفى بالله وكيلا

“When people avoid you as you face a difficulty, know that Allāh desires to attend to your matter. ‘And Allāh suffices as the disposer of affairs.’”
