A Pearl of Wisdom from Ibn Taymiyyah

Ibn Taymiyyah said:

مثل الأخوة في الله كمثل اليد والعين فإذا دمعت العين مسحت اليد دمعها وإذا تألمت اليد بكت العين لأجلها

“Brotherhood for Allāh’s sake is like the hand and the eye. When the eye cries, the hand wipes away its tears. And when the hand hurts, the eye cries because of it.”
