A Pearl of Wisdom from Salmān al-Fārisī

Salmān al-Fārisī once entered upon a man who was in his death throes. Salmān said: “O Angel! Be gentle with him.” To which the man responded:

إنه يقول أنا بكل مؤمن رفيق

“The Angel says: ‘I am gentle with every believer.’”
