A Pearl of Wisdom from ʿAbdah b. Abī Lubābah
ʿAbdah b. Abī Lubābah said:
إِذَا خَتَمَ الرَّجُلُ القُرْآنَ نَهَارًا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُمْسِي، وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْهُ لَيْلًا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ
“When one finishes reading the Qurʾān during the day, the Angels pray for him until night. And when one finishes reading it at night, they pray for him until morning.”
