A Pearl of Wisdom from Sayyid Aḥmad Bey al-Ḥusaynī

In the biography that Sayyid Aḥmad Bey wrote for Ḥasan al-ʿAṭṭār, he said:

وكان (رحمه الله) محسودا بين أقرانه، كما هي العادة؛ لأن من انفرد في شيء وفاق به، كان كذلك

“He (Allāh shower him in His mercy) was the envy of his peers, as is the norm; indeed, anyone who stands alone doing something and excels in it, this is his situation.”
