A Pearl of Wisdom from Rābiʿah al-ʿAdawīyah

Someone once said to Rābiʿah al-ʿAdawīyah: “Advise me what will bring me closer to Allāh.” To which she replied:

عليك بكثرة ذكره

“You should remember Him frequently.”
