A Pearl of Wisdom from Harim b. Ḥayyān

Harim b. Ḥayyān said:

ما آثر الدنيا على الآخرة حكيم ولا عصى الله كريم

“One who is wise does not prefer this world over the next, and one who is noble does not disobey God.”
