A Pearl of Wisdom from Ibn Masʿūd
Ibn Masʿūd said:
إذا ظهر الزنا والربا في قرية أذن بهلاكها
“When fornication and usury emerge in a town, this foreshadows its destruction.”
(al-Mukhtār min Kalām al-Akhyār, 51)
