A Pearl of Wisdom from Abū ʿUthmān al-Maghribī

Abū ʿUthmān al-Maghribī said:

التَّقْوَى هِيَ الْوُقُوفُ مَعَ الْحُدُودِ، لَا يُقَصِّرُ فِيْهَا وَلَا يَتَعَدَّاهَا

“Taqwā is adhering to the limits; one does not neglect them nor violate them.”
