A Pearl of Wisdom from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib

Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib said:

الْجُمُعَةُ أَحَبُّ إِليَّ مِنْ حَجِّ التَّطَوُّعِ

“Friday is more beloved to me that a supererogatory pilgrimage.”
