A Pearl of Wisdom from Muwarriq b. al-Mushamrij al-ʿIjlī

Muwarriq b. al-Mushmarij said:

مَا تَكلَّمْتُ بِشَيْءٍ فِي الْغَضَبِ إِلَّا نَدِمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الرِّضَا

“I never said anything while angry except for that I regretted it when I was no longer angry.”
