A Pearl of Wisdom from Muḥammad al-Bāqir

Muḥammad al-Bāqir said:

بِئْسَ الأَخُ أَخٌ يَرْعَاكَ غَنِيًّا وَيَقْطَعُكَ فَقِيرًا

“The worst friend is the one who hangs around you while you’re rich but avoids you if you become poor.”
