A Pearl of Wisdom from Wahb b. Munabbih

Wahb b. Munabbih would say:

الإيمان عريان ولباسه التقوى وزينته الحياء وماله الفقه

“Faith is naked. Its clothing is piety, its adornment is modesty, and its wealth is understanding.”

(al-Mukhtār min Kalām al-Akhyār, 134)
