Unlike the previous messengers, Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ not only to a specific community but to all of mankind. Moreover, his message is not restricted to a specific era but applicable until the end of time, a feature that scholars term the shumuliyya, universality, of the Prophetic practice. This universality extends to all aspects of life for which the blessed sunna provides guidance, including education, governance, activism, marriage, time-management, and worship.

Please join Masjid DarusSalam at our annual Sira Conference, where we will discuss the continuing relevance of the sunna in contemporary society.
