ABOUT THE PROGRAM
DarusSalam is pleased to relaunch our weekend class for boys and girls (6-16). This program is designed for youth to learn the essentials of Islam in an environment that seeks to nurture and develop a deep love and connection to Allah Ta’ala and His Beloved Messenger (S). Students will be engaged in a curriculum that covers du’a, hadith, adab, sunnah, and Qur’an.
In today’s environment, it is very challenging for our Muslim youth to maintain their identities. Thus, one of the essential goals of this program is to provide the youth with a spiritual environment that builds positive Muslim identities and inspires the youth to engage themselves in learning and practicing their deen.

Quran
Our Sunday School is designed for everyone. The classes are divided according to the student's ability to recite the Quran. Class sizes are kept small to ensure students get the attention they deserve. Based on a student's ability, they will be in one of the following levels:
Qaidah - For students who are just starting their journey to Hifz. In this class, students will master the pronunciation of the Arabic Alphabet, learn how to recognize letters and vowels, and combine letters, and begin reciting the Quran!
Tajwid - For students who have mastered the Qaidah, they can move on to learning the correct pronunciation of the letters with all their qualities and rules. After completing our Tajwid class, the students will inshaAllah be able to properly recite the Quran, making it easier for them to read and memorize.
Hifz - For students who have attained mastery in Tajwid and are fluent in reciting the Quran, they can begin their journey on memorizing the Quran. Students will revise their previously memorized Quran and also receive new lessons.

Our Islamic Studies Curriculum will take your sondaughter on a journey to learn essentials of the Deen. The subjects include:
