DarusSalam Foundation consists of DarusSalam Masjid and DarusSalam Academy. Both the academy and masjid are integral parts of the foundation, and they join together to form a bond that brings the minds and hearts together for one purpose: To serve Allah (SWT) and seek His pleasure. DarusSalam Foundation comprises both Masjid DarusSalam and DarusSalam Academy. Both branches are housed in our Lombard location.
In December 2007, DarusSalam Foundation purchased a 4.5-acre parcel of land at the intersection of I-355 and North Avenue at the center of Dupage County. Located in Lombard, Illinois, this centrally located property is just 20 miles from Chicago, in proximity to around 20 suburbs, where thousands of Muslim families reside.
Alhamdulillah, by the grace and will of Allah (SWT), the land has been completely paid off and the construction is near completion. In addition to having prayer accommodations for brothers and sisters, the 22,000-square-foot building has the following:
