There are certain institutes of learning that have a reputation for matriculating and graduating quality candidates. As the idiom goes, "You can always tell a Harvard man," meaning that he possesses certain characteristics that make him distinct from the average person. When it comes to the university of the Messenger ﷺ, the head of admissions was Allah Himself, who granted select individuals the privilege of being the disciples of His Prophet, and the graduates were none other than the illustrious Sahaba and Ahl al-Bayt. The tutelage of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ molded them into paragons of virtue and exemplars of humanity. We cannot separate iman from Abu Bakr, courage from `Ali, modesty from Fatima, and sacrifice from Bilal, may Allah be well please with them. These are our role models and guiding lights.

Please join DarusSalam for our annual retreat, titled In the Prophetic Presence: Men and Women Around the Messenger, where we will explore lessons from the character and conduct of the Companions and Noble Household.
